Found those two images from Hamburg’s Chilehaus in my photo library today and I still love how they came out.

The Chilehaus is a brick building with many details. This photo showcases the edge of the building which has a very sharp angle, almost arrow like. The perspective is from the bottom up towards the dark night sky and the pointy edge and two other wall sections make the roof which extends over the edge of the house look like an airplane. The house splits the scene perfectly in halves and because of the W form of the roof also in rough thirds. The roof and the center column are illuminated.Chilehaus at a diagonal angle and in frog perspective, showing the side fassade with the illuminated CHILEHAUS lettering and the rows of white framed windows. The bottom row and the roof are illuminated and it creates a very intriguing contrast to the rest of the building.
