@maique @annahavron I agree. Flickr is great for organizing/curating/sharing, especially when one of your use cases is sharing via personal link. You can nicely segment who can do and see what. It doesn’t have the built-in social network anymore because many people left for Instagram, but that’s OK. …
@hdv I use microblog. Bites, bits, pieces,…
@tom bu = llsh = itt 🤣
@aarongustafson All good here.
@jean Awesome!
@renestalder I mean, there is a difference between is tested and supported for x number of users, and “might run, try it out, yolo” 😅
@erikKroes you probably have an AppleID and use apps that sync through iCloud? (iCloud is pretty amazing keeping everything in sync behind the scenes.)
@SaraSoueidan I’m not using Mastodon regularly and the standard app is pretty lackluster, I had a look in Toot! and Metatext who are both better, but they seem to be unable to hide boosts. Annoying.
@erikKroes Feedbin with Reeder or Fieryfeeds. Nice thing with a service like Feedbin is that you can shove Newsletters and Twitter accounts in there as well. Everything you want to consume in one app.
@zachleat *snicker
@SaraSoueidan Three dots menu for individual users let’s you also disable their “boosts”: share.icloud.com/photos/0a...
@SaraSoueidan At the top of your timeline select the settings icon and uncheck “boosts” share.icloud.com/photos/03... Clients should have similar settings.
@somelaniesaid Yup. It is all an outrage & attention machine. Super exhausting.
@marcozehe For what its worth, Big Finish has lots of full-cast audio dramas. Including Doctor Who (which is why I know of them). My brain can’t process audio dramas, I almost immediately fall asleep. 😂
@blindscribe Most people seem to go to mastodon.social. I have no tangible experience with Pixelfed, unfortunately. I have an account on one of the instances but never really used it.
@whalecoiner It’s what I love about having a micro.blog – I don’t even know if someone follows me. I don’t know if someone faves my post. This is for me. And it allows and encourages me to create more diverse content. On Twitter, I always have to wear the accessibility guy uniform because it’s …
@paul_irish Two billions?
@whalecoiner What? Feldsalat is the best Salat. (Especially if you don’t need to wash it yourself!)
@matthiasott hello!
@annaecook 💛
@AngieRadtke let that sink in!
@sturobson The lease for my 2019 16" is up in December or January… Maybe I just buy it out instead of upgrading.
@help Any way I could help with this and/or fund this? As an accessibility professional it is very important to me.
@help Is there anything I can do to ensure that the alternative text on images is syndicated along with the images to Twitter and Mastodon? Accessibility is essential.
