As a Safari and Firefox and only occasional Chrome user, I ask the same things. Less browser biodiversity threatens the fabric of the web.

As an Edge user I have a few thoughts on this rumor:

1. Browser features cost money to develop. It makes sense to cut losses.
2. What happens to Chakra?
3. How do we maintain browser diversity?
4. Is Chromium now the de facto determiner of web standards?

On the other hand, isn’t this web standards fault? Now that features are developed in union, like with Grid, you cannot differentiate with your rendering engine. You have to differentiate with other features. …
